Veer began his actuarial journey right after his 10th standard (ISC board), when most students are still exploring career options. With a clear vision and strong determination, he chose to step into the world of actuarial science early.
Building a Strong Foundation
Before jumping into professional exams, Veer focused on strengthening his basics by starting with a Foundation Course in Maths & Statistics.

This step helped him build clarity and confidence, setting the base for his actuarial preparation.
The First Attempt – A Learning Phase
Veer started preparing for CM1 (IFoA April 2025 attempt) while studying in 11th standard.
He was:
✔️ Regular in attending lectures
✔️ Consistent with tests and practice
However, in his first attempt, he scored 51 marks—just a few marks short of clearing.
For many students, this could feel like a setback. But for Veer, it became a turning point.
The Comeback – Stronger Than Before
Instead of getting discouraged, Veer chose to restart with a stronger mindset.
With improved preparation and consistency, he appeared again in:
👉 CM1 – IFoA September 2025 Attempt
And this time, he didn’t just clear—he excelled.
🔥 Scored 79 marks

Taking a Strategic Pause
After his success, Veer took a smart decision to focus on his 12th board exams, and therefore did not appear in the IFoA April 2026 session.
👉 Because success is not just about speed—it’s about balance and timing.
