For many students, Class 11 is the beginning of an important academic phase. For Hriday Kanakia, a student of SVKM's Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, it was also the beginning of his actuarial journey.

Hriday started preparing for CM1 – Actuarial Mathematics for Modelling while studying in Class 11. Starting at an early stage gave him the opportunity to understand actuarial concepts gradually while continuing with his regular academics.

A Flexible Approach to Learning

Hriday prepared for CM1 primarily through recorded videos. This allowed him to manage his college schedule while maintaining consistency in his actuarial preparation.

One of the key aspects of his preparation was his approach towards doubts. Whenever he faced difficulty with a concept or question, he regularly connected with Ravi Sir to get his doubts clarified.

Instead of allowing small gaps in understanding to build up, he made sure that difficult concepts were addressed at the right time.

Hriday appeared for the CM1 April 2026 examination with consistent preparation behind him.
