Every Course.
Every Format.
Until You Pass.
S.MONK prepares students for IFoA and IAI actuarial examinations through rigorous, outcome-focused coaching. Every course includes practical modelling or programming skills alongside exam theory — because passing the exam is only half the job.
Four Things Every
S.MONK Course Includes.
If you complete the course and do not clear your exam, you return to the next batch at no additional coaching charge. This is not a marketing line — it is a financial commitment backed by genuine confidence in our teaching.
Requires 80%+ attendance and exam attempt within 12 months.
Every batch is hard-capped at 30 students. This is not a policy we inherited — it is one we built the school around. Every student gets questions answered, gets noticed when they fall behind, and gets taught, not just lectured to.
Batches fill quickly. Enrol early to secure your seat.
CM-series courses include Excel financial modelling practicals. CS-series courses include R programming from first principles. Both are included in the course fee — no separate charge, no optional add-on. Employers hire students who can use these tools.
All lectures are available on S.MONK's encrypted offline app. Download and study anywhere — on a train, during a commute, without internet. Content is secured and tied to your account, and remains accessible for the duration of your enrolment.
Technical Foundations
of the Actuarial Qualification
The mathematical foundation of the entire actuarial qualification. CM1 covers the time value of money, equation of value, life insurance and annuity models, and actuarial risk modelling — topics that every subsequent paper builds upon. Most students start here.
Statistical thinking and modelling applied to actuarial problems. CS1 covers probability theory, statistical inference, regression, Bayesian methods, and time series — alongside R programming so every concept is applied to real data, exactly as employers require.
The intersection of financial economics and actuarial science. CM2 covers derivatives, option pricing, stochastic calculus, risk measures, and loss reserving — building the quantitative finance skills that open doors to investment and risk roles.
Advanced statistical and probabilistic models for risk assessment. CS2 covers survival analysis, Markov chains, stochastic processes, extreme value theory, and credibility theory — with R programming applied to real actuarial datasets throughout.
Finance and Economics
for the Modern Actuary
The financial decision-making framework that underpins how businesses operate. CB1 covers corporate finance, capital structure, investment appraisal, financial reporting, and working capital management — the business fluency every actuary needs to work effectively in any organisation.
Economic principles applied to financial services and insurance. CB2 covers microeconomics, macroeconomics, market structures, monetary and fiscal policy — providing the economic context that shapes every industry an actuary works in.
Starting Your
Actuarial Journey
The official entry examination for student membership of the Institute of Actuaries of India. ACET tests mathematics, statistics, data interpretation, and English — and is the mandatory first step for anyone pursuing the IAI qualification pathway. S.MONK's ACET coaching covers every section of the syllabus with focused practice and timed mock tests.
A structured introduction to the mathematical and statistical concepts that underpin the actuarial syllabus. Designed for students who want to build a strong foundation before attempting CM1, CS1, or ACET — particularly those coming from non-mathematics backgrounds or returning to study after a gap.
